AllerAir AirMedicPlus MCS
DETAILS
The AllerAir AirMedicPlus MCS is a specialized unit designed especially for people with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and allergies.
Manufactured with the most inert materials, including a sealed motor, an organic cotton pre-filter, all-metal housing, and a
powder-coated carbon canister, the AirMedicPlus MCS adsorbs chemicals, particles and odors, with little or no off gassing,
to provide relief to MCS sufferers. It contains 18 lbs. of special granular activated carbon and 23 sq.ft. of true HEPA.
The unit has variable speed control and a high airflow rate at 560 CFM, with air intake 360 degrees around the sides of the unit.
The pre-filter can be cleaned by vacuuming the outside screen around the unit with a vacuum brush attachment (no disassembly required). Removal of the pre-filter for replacement is done by unscrewing the bottom plate of the unit. |

FILTRATION SYSTEM
The AllerAir AirMedicPlus MCS utilizes a 4-stage filtration system:
- An organic cotton pre-filter for trapping large particles like dust, hair and pet dander
NOTE: The pre-filter should be changed or vacuumed every 2 to 4 months depending on the dust level; vacuum the outside screen of the unit with a soft brush attachment
- Two anti-microbial filters wrapped around the inside and outside of the carbon filter cylinder
to suppress the growth of microorganisms
- An 18 pound special MCS carbon filter
to trap airborne chemicals, gases and odors
- 23 sq.ft. of true medical grade HEPA filter that traps 99.97% of airborne
particles 0.3 microns in diameter

AllerAir AirMedicPlus MCS
WARRANTY
AllerAir offers a 10-year limited warranty on the motor, and 5 years on parts (cord, switch, wheels) and labour.
AllerAir does not provide a warranty for expendable parts such as filters.
AllerAir does not warrant length of filter life, since it will be different in each home. Many factors are involved such as the amount of dust and pollution which come in from outside when windows are open (and they must be opened regularly); renovation materials; home cleaning products; 'air fresheners'; candles; perfumes; personal care products and sprays, etc. |
