AllerAir 5000 Vocarb
DETAILS
Designed for extra odor and airborne chemical control,
the powerful AllerAir 5000 Vocarb also removes a broad range
of airborne particles including dust, pollen, pet dander,
mold, bacteria, and viruses.
The 5000 Vocarb is suitable for a wide variety of applications,
including homes and businesses located in areas vulnerable
to pollution from wood smoke or traffic. It is also suitable
for hotel rooms and daycares where hygiene control and fresh,
clean air are important for the well-being and comfort of
the clients and staff.
It features an 18 pound, 2.5 inch thick, activated
granular carbon filter with Permaform (potassium iodide)
to remove higher concentrations of specific VOCs (volatile
organic compounds) such as formaldehyde found in new buildings,
renovation materials, carpets, furniture, upholstery and
fabrics. The thickness of the carbon bed and the granular
form of the carbon allow for more 'dwell time' as the airborne
chemicals pass over the filter, and a greater capacity for
trapping the pollutants.
The 33 sq.ft. of true medical-grade HEPA filter removes
99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns in diameter. AllerAir's
HEPA filter is warm rolled to prevent cracking, and evenly
pleated to allow for optimum filtering capacity.
The pre-filter is easy to remove for cleaning or replacing,
without opening the air purifier.

FILTRATION SYSTEM
The AllerAir 5000 Exec utilizes a 4-stage filtration system:
- An easy-clean, pull-out pre-filter for trapping large particles like dust, hair and pet dander;
the pre-filter prolongs the life of the main filters
NOTE: The pre-filter should be changed or vacuumed on both sides every month or two, depending on dust build-up
- Two anti-microbial filters wrapped around the inside and outside of the carbon filter cylinder
to suppress the growth of microorganisms
- An 18 pound 2.5 inch thick, granular, activated MAC-B carbon filter with zeolite,
and Permaform (potassium iodide) to remove higher concentrations of specific VOCs (volatile organic compounds) such as
formaldehyde found in new buildings, renovation materials, carpets, furniture, upholstery and fabrics
- 33 sq.ft. of true medical grade HEPA filter that traps 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3
microns in diameter

WARRANTY
AllerAir offers a 10-year warranty on the motor, 5 years on parts and labour (excluding expendable parts such as pre-filters and filters).
AllerAir does not warrant length of filter life, since it will be different in each home. Many factors are involved such as the amount of dust and pollution which come in from outside when windows are open (and they must be opened regularly); renovation materials; home cleaning products; 'air fresheners'; candles; perfumes; personal care products and sprays, etc. |
